Tapas Acupressure
Technique
The Tapas Acupressure
Technique was developed by Tapas Fleming, an acupuncturist.
Fleming’s technique enables the individual to hold a small
number of specific acupressure points while focusing on a
problem or issue. Because only a small number of points are
used the technique is simple and easy to use. The process
includes multiple steps, including the following steps that
allow the user to address various aspects of the problem:
-
The
origins of the problem
-
The
places in the body that the problem may have been stored
-
Any
anger, judgment, and lack of forgiveness of others who
have played a role in the problem
-
Any
anger, judgment, and lack of forgiveness of self related
to the problem
The process works at a
deep level and is very complete. The result is that the
individual can observe the problem from a more neutral, yet,
peaceful, perspective.
Fleming initially used TAT
to help clients with allergic reactions and traumatic
stress. Today, TAT has been used successfully for a wide
range of issues including fears and phobias, depression,
relationship issues, anger, and more. For more information
